Kuwait - Mubasher: The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by 52 cents on Thursday, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported that Kuwaiti crude oil reached $49.15 per barrel (pb) yesterday after registering $48.63 pb on the day before.
Oil prices also increased in global markets, after data showed a rise in local demand for crude products in the United States.
Brent crude future contracts added 28 cents to $52.64 pb, while West Texas Intermediate's (WTI) futures for September delivery grew 21 cents to $49.81 pb.
